13 TV-famous houses you never knew are located in Georgia (2024)

Georgia has quietly become one of the hottest filming destinations in the United States.

Over the past decade, the Peach State has blossomed into a major hub for television and film production, thanks to its generous tax incentives, diverse landscapes, and growing infrastructure.

With its historic architecture, picturesque small towns, and bustling urban areas, Georgia offers a versatile backdrop that can stand in for basically any location in the world — something filmmakers and TV producers were quick to take notice of.

And you might be surprised to learn that many of the most iconic homes featured in your favorite new TV shows are actually located in Georgia — despite the action of the series taking place in a completely different location.

Netflix in particular has been filming most of its shows here, so expect to see quite a few of your favorite streaming titles on our list.
