Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott recently proved that when it comes to his home, a simple renovation won’t do. In TMZ-exclusive video that surfaced Wednesday, watch as Dude Perfect demolishes Dak Prescott’s massive Prosper estate. The 31-year-old let trick-shot phenomenon loose on the bulldozer and got in on the fun, too. The NFL’s highest-paid player plans to build a more modern residence that better suits his current lifestyle, TMZ reported.
Prescott lives in a 9,016-square-foot home inProsper, which makes sense because it’s an easy commute to The Star, the Cowboys’ practice facility in Frisco. Zillow estimates the home value at $4.933 million, though insiders know that Zillow Zestimates aren’t always accurate as Texas is a non-disclosure state so they don’t have access to transactional data. However, real estate records show the home had a closing price of $3.04 million.
Dude Perfect Demolishes Dak Prescott Home
Prescott’s decision to tear down the multi-million-dollar property wasn’t a spur-of-the-moment choice — it was all part of a carefully thought-out upgrade, (we think). Neighbors told TMZ that Prescott let the community know about his plans well in advance.
Rather than simply remodeling, the Cowboys star opted for a full teardown to create space for his new, custom-designed home. And he didn’t go at it alone — he called in some big help from the Dallas viral trick-shot team-turned-machine, Dude Perfect.
In true Dak fashion, the demolition wasn’t your average wrecking ball moment. Dude Perfect filmed the destruction, capturing the action from all angles, including some creative shots with drones. Prescott even got in on the fun, running through his yard and posing alongside the construction equipment for the cameras.

The 9,000-square-foot home, built in 2012, sits on 7.19 acres and features an indoor sports simulator theater, a game room with bar, and expansive outdoor areas that include a resort-style pool. Keep in mind, these photos below are from the home’s previous listing on the market in May 2019. So, no, Dak doesn’t have a Detroit Lions Barry Sanders jersey on his wall.
He does have a famous Realtor though. When Prescott purchased the home in June 2019, his seller’s agent was the mayor of Frisco, Jeff Cheney of Robert Elliott and Associates.
With five bedrooms and seven baths, the Mediteranean-style home is a stunner with inlaid herringbone stone floors lining the foyer, a spacious kitchen with double granite islands, and amenity rooms such as a gym, mudroom, home office, and home workspace. Scroll for more photos of his home.

One personal touch that’s bound to stay is the custom football field Dak installed on the back acreage. Prescott added a 55-yard artificial turf practice field on the property with D4K logos (something of a portmanteau of his name and jersey number) and the word Faith spelled in the end zone. A silhouette of his late mother, Peggy, makes up the A in Faith.
The field was built by the same company the Cowboys used to install their fields at AT&T Stadium and The Star. The field turned out to be an ideal place for Prescott to work out with teammates during the pandemic.

Why?
By now, we’re sure you’re wondering, ‘Why tear down a perfectly livable home and start over — while moving into fall and winter weather, and during the Dallas Cowboys 2024-25 football season?’ We’re still working on finding that out, but we can tell you one of Dak’s reasons for tearing down instead of selling and buying new is the neighborhood. The custom-built home is located in the 275‑acre master-planned community of Whispering Farms. According to the neighborhood’s developer Mooreland Development, Whispering Farms has 108 masterfully placed homesites nestled among 2.5 miles of hike‑bike‑equestrian trails leading to the 40‑acre Town Lake Park.
Construction Ahead
Later in the day, Prescott was spotted with his girlfriend, Sarah Jane, as they watched the final swipes of the excavator bring down the last remnants of the mansion. The NFL’s highest-paid player — earning $60 million a year — certainly has the resources to pull off this large-scale project, and it seems he’s ready to enjoy the process. Though, we’re not sure where Prescott, Sarah Jane, and their new baby plan to live in the mean time.
While Prescott’s former mansion may be reduced to rubble, you can expect his next home to be nothing short of spectacular. The football star is known for his attention to detail, both on and off the field, and his new build is sure to reflect that.
