How do I register my AT&T U-verse account? ›

Confirm that the Power, Broadband, and Service lights on your gateway are green. If your lights aren't green, your gateway may have signal issues or other problems. To reboot your modem or gateway: Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Wait 2 minutes and then plug it back in.

Go to currently.com and select Sign In. Choose Create AT&T Account. Enter your wireless number and ZIP Code. We'll text you a confirmation code.

Enter the Admin Login, then click Login. Note: The default admin login is attadmin. The admin login can be found on the bottom of the device.

If you do not remember your AT&T online account management User ID, try our Forgot User ID/Password? link found on the Sign In page. Select the User ID option, enter your main telephone number, select the Continue button, and then follow the instructions to retrieve your User ID.

Log in to att.com/uversecentral, then enter your AT&T U-verse member ID (email address) and password you've always used to manage your AT&T U-verse account. *REMEMBER: Only Primary Members can view or pay the bill, change the contact phone number or email address, etc.

Check the location of your AT&T gateway - Distance, interference, and obstructions can adversely affect your wireless signal. Follow these simple guidelines for optimal wireless network performance: Place your wireless gateway/router in a central location in your home.

Many receiver problems can be fixed by restarting your receiver. To do this, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds. This takes 5-8 minutes and will impact any DVR recordings in progress. If you have multiple receivers, reboot your wireless gateway by unplugging it from its power source.

Troubleshooting Your AT&T WiFi Connection

The simplest yet often most effective first step is to restart your modem and router. This can resolve many temporary connectivity issues by refreshing your network and clearing potential glitches. Unplug the devices, wait for about a minute, and then plug them back in.

Once you have an AT&T user ID, sign in to Smart Home Manager. It will take you through each step to unpack your equipment, connect to the AT&T network, and activate your service. No tools or technical know-how necessary.

Yes, Currently, it is the rebranded att email, which collaborated with Yahoo Mail. Moreover, when you register for a new email account, you can choose between currently.com and att.net extensions.

If you haven't yet changed your AT&T router's default username or password, you can first log in using the default data. The AT&T default router login is attadmin for the password.

On the back of the AT&T U-verse TV receiver, look for the connection TO TV. Connect the coaxial cable between TO TV and VIDEO IN on the back of your television. Don't disconnect any Network or TO WALL cables. Plug your U-verse TV receiver into the wall to give it power.
